A Summary of the Consensus for the Management of Thyroid Disorders in Malaysia
AbstractThyroid disorders are amongst one of the most common endocrine diseases in Malaysia. In 1998, a taskforce consisting of experts in the field of thyroidology was set up to develop consensus recommendations for the management of thyroid disorders in the country based on available scientific evidence at that point in time. The following article summarizes the recommendations put together by the task force incorporating some of the recent available evidence with regards to the treatment of thyroid disorders.
